Oak Class

I trained to become a teacher through Devon Primary SCITT, whereby I trained predominately in a year 6 class, however also spent a term in a year 2 class. This will be my second year teaching year 5/6 since qualifying as a teacher in 2022. I started my journey into teaching at the University of Birmingham whereby I studied history, before relocating back to Devon and working as a teaching assistant for two years. I enjoyed working in a school so much that I joined DPSCITT in 2021 to start my teacher training.

Outside of school, I enjoy travelling with my friends both around the UK and abroad, as well as reading. Being a country girl at heart, I love to go on walks with my family with our ginger labrador Suki.
